St Eugene de Mazenod Parish, grounded in the Oblate tradition, is a Christ centred, Eucharistic community, guided by the Holy Spirit in which we worship God and inspire each other to live the Gospel message.

 

To achieve this goal as a parish, we strive to:

  • Prayer and liturgical celebration are central to our lives
  • parish life is enriched by the involvement of all
  • young people are supported and involved in parish life
  • we act to bring justice in our local community and beyond
  • our faith journey is enhanced by life long learning
  • there is effective stewardship of our resources

Priest Message

Welcome to the website of St Eugene de Mazenod Parish Burpengary. St Eugene Parish is a vibrant young Catholic community in the Archdiocese of Brisbane under the pastoral care of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI).

You will find on this site information about the many groups as well as liturgy times for the parish. In 2012 we celebrate our 25th Anniversary. I invite you to explore this website for opportunities of how you can be involved in our vibrant community.

This updated website aims to keep you connected with your parish. You can also stay connected through the Parish Facebook and my Twitter account. These technologies do not replace real community but enhance it.
