MAMI is the lay organisation which supports the operations of:

  • Australian Oblates; priests & lay missionaries working in overseas missions (Indonesia, China, Hong Kong & Kenya)

  • St Mary's Seminary in Camberwell, Victoria

Oblate missionary activity is inspired by the Founder, St Eugene de Mazenod and his challenge to:

"Leave Nothing Undared for the Kingdom of God"

All members of the Oblate Family, religious and laity, are called to assist the poor and abandoned in society and to follow the principles set down by St Eugene:

"First we make them human, then Christian, then Saints..."
